Zen Shin Katsu

Demonstrated by Mrs A. T. Short 7th dan

Zen Shin Katsu is an ancient Japanese art within Martial Arts which aims to resuscitate and relieve pain caused by injury. Katsu means to revive. It uses pressure points and identifies energy lines as those used in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. By re-aligning disrupted energy patterns the cause of the pain is taken away and health is restored through pressure and manipulation

Hypnotherapy

Everyone can learn to express themselves and increase their self-awareness, inner harmony, positive feelings and compassion. The goal of self-hypnosis and meditation is to promote an openness of emotions and assist people in dealing with events without unnecessary difficulties

Aromatherapy

Demonstrated by Mrs A. T. Short 7th dan

Aromatherapy has been around and has been practised in one form or another since the beginning of civilisation. It is the art, and science, of using oils extracted from aromatic plants to enhance health and beauty. Apart from the physical benefits, essential oils can have subtle effects on the mind and emotions. The essential oils taken from plants and used in Aromatherapy have been described as their "life force" - they are essential to the plants' biological process, as well as being the substance which gives them their scent. Synthetic oils, even if chemically similar, will lack all the natural elements, and that vital life-force, that make essential oils so valuable therapeutically.

Crystal Healing

Demonstrated by Mrs A. T. Short 7th dan

Crystal Healing presents a way that crystals can be used to augment energy healing, also known as therapeutic touch or healing touch. In all energy healing work, the healing can be instantaneous if the healer is connected to truth and the recipient is receptive. It's important to remember that the healer is simply a channel for pure positive energy. The patient is the one who is responsible for accepting the healing

Reflexology

Demonstrated by K M Kilvington

The ancient healing art of reflexology has been known to man for many thousands of years. It was first practised by the early Indian, Chinese and Egyptian peoples. They observed that congestion or tension in any part of the foot mirrors congestion or tension in a corresponding part of the body. Thus, when you treat the big toes there is a related effect in the head, and treating the whole foot can have a relaxing and healing effect on the whole body
