Colin Sangwin
9th Dan,  Soke
A Brief history
Soke Colin Sanwin has been studying many disciplings in the martial arts since he was a small child. Initiated to the Martial Arts by his father soke Norman Sangwin first in Judo and Kung Fu in the 1955
then into ju jitsu. He attained his black belt in Judo in 1970 and later in ju jitsu. Colin  served in the 16th paracute Brigade, Royal Engineers in the 1970s and continued teaching whilest in the army training in Hong Kong, Canada and many other place both at home and abroad
He took on the mantle of Head of the United Martial Arts on the retirement of Soke Norman Sangwin in 2006. Achieving 9th dan status in Ju Jitsu in April 2009
