A warm welcome to the "Milliner's House" Self Catering Holiday Cottage in Wigton, Cumbria.

The Milliners House is a delightful 18th century period, Grade 2 listed terrace house which is situated very close to Wigton town centre.

The house will sleep 9 plus a travel cot also available.There are stairs to the upper floor with 5 bedrooms, a bathroom with bath, toilet and a shower. There are 2 double rooms (including 1 four poster bed) 2 twin rooms and a single room. All bed linen is included but please bring your own towels.

Downstairs separate toilet, laundry with washer dryer and second shower. Dining room, well equipped kitchen with dish washer, microwave and fridge freezer, gas hob electric oven. Sitting room with free view TV, DVD player so bring your favorite DVD. If it's wet or you are just chilling out on an evening, There are a few board games to play too!

At the Back is a small secluded paved patio / yard it was once a yard where local women took in washing now known as Mark's Yard

The House is less then a couple of minutes walk to all shops, banks, pubs, restaurants and amenities. There is a lovely little public swimming pool that the children will love only 6 or 7 minutes walk from the house and the library is just around the corner. We lose our children to the local library all the time!! There are plenty of lovely walks around the countryside from Wigton we keep plenty of maps if you're a keen walker.

Wigton railway station is just down the road where you can get lakeland day rover rail tickets and explore the coastal resorts around the Lakes - great fun!!

*Please note there is only on Street Parking, but very close to several local car parks.

No smoking please. No pets, sorry there is no real garden for them to be let out onto.
